Details of how escrow operates on Chuo Market.
An escrow transaction is created after the buyer initiates purchase. Funds are deposited and held until delivery is confirmed.
After payment, funds move to holding status. The seller delivers the item, and the buyer confirms upon receipt.
Funds are released to the seller after buyer confirmation or administrator decision. Commission may be deducted.
In case of disagreement, a dispute can be opened. Funds are frozen while evidence is reviewed and a resolution is issued.
If no dispute is raised within a reasonable period after delivery, funds may be auto-released per platform policy.
